The cosmetics industry has a structural problem.
Many products reach the market without sufficient scientific evidence. Consumers choose "by feeling," and brands market on that assumption. As a result, what the skin truly needs never reaches it, and 90% of customers churn within 12 months. This structure makes no one happy.

KAIAN develops evidence-based skincare products, starting from AI-powered formulation design and data analysis. Every formula has scientific backing, and that backing is disclosed. We are making it an industry standard for consumers to choose with full understanding of "why this ingredient."
What we are working on is Skin Longevity—the realization of long-term skin health. Not short-term cosmetic improvement, but scientifically supporting the skin’s inherent regenerative power to maintain healthy conditions as we age. To achieve this, we combine data-driven decision-making cultivated in IT with skincare science.

Over 17 years in the IT industry, driving new business development, global expansion, and large-scale investment optimization. Led M&A, overseas entity establishment, and investment in SaaS companies, building deep experience at the forefront of business development. Transitioned to cosmetics and apparel, serving as a business head (Division Head and Managing Director/CSO) at two companies with revenues in the hundreds of billions of yen. Directly responsible for management decisions including domestic retail transformation, cross-border e-commerce growth, corporate turnaround, and supply chain optimization. The convergence of data-driven thinking cultivated in IT and the structural challenges witnessed in the cosmetics industry is the founding point of KAIAN.

Engineering partners who can collaborate in the beauty x technology space, including AI skin diagnostics, personalized recommendation engines, and data analytics infrastructure.
Creators who can express a brand worldview that balances science and sophistication, including package design, product photography, video production, and web design.
Storage, inspection, and shipping of D2C cosmetics. 3PL partners with experience handling cosmetics, including subscription cycle shipping and gift packaging.
